When Your “No” Can Mean a Big “Yes”

When I was a child sometimes when I wanted to ask a question, my dad would say, “Whatever it is, the answer is No!”  It was probably when he was right in the middle of something where he was trying to focus his attention.

I came across an article this week that talked about how extremely successful people say “No” to just about everything in order to focus on what is really important.

As an experiment, I added a conscious effort to say “No” to all of the little distractions that were calling to lead me astray from my business plan for the day. By adding this little twist, my morning became way more productive and I felt like I had accomplished more for that day.

This may come automatically to you, but if not, I challenge you to try it and see how your “No” turns into a big “Yes”.
